Joli décor pour ce panneau stop.
Chad: It seems bizarre.
no significant investment for the signal in the top shot (equipment, algorithms, testing, etc). i wonder if you have seen some of those traffic clips from Indian metropolitan cities on Youtube.
Chad: No I haven’t seen the Ayush, I expect they are manic.
When, and why ? I always wondered how that Swindon roundabout worked. They are baffled by single ones here, I am often questioned about them smile
Chad: The first time I encountered the Swindon roundabout I had no idea where to go. I just kept going and hoped for the best.
Not hard to stop with that in front of you, Chad, right?! But that 7-circle roundabout is mind-boggling. Have you ever driven in/on it, I wonder??
Chad: If you can’t stop the stop will stop you.

I think people hit that pole so many times that they made the decision to really secure it..... what a find, Chad.

And now you know why it is hard to drive in the UK..... I would just honk the horn and try to avoid hitting somebody...
Chad: The strange think about this, Astrid,is that it was in an empty space in a quarry.
Seems a reasonable request
Chad: In a disused quarry I thought it outrageous.

Did you do it ...how many times did you come to a stop. Did you get to where you wanted to Bet Norma was better than you when she did it.

Mayor road junctions in Calcutta, which are larger versions of this with no lines and ten times as much traffic would scare the pants off you. But with all the horn blaring it does seem to be organised chaos. Mind you aa taxi we were in had two altercations whilst we were in it.
Chad: I ha e never been to Inja mate. I was on foot in this disused quarry.
I like this picture, don't ask me why, I just do. I haven't done the Swindon roundabout but there is an identical one in Hemel Hempstead which we drove round at least 30-35 years ago, one really has to concentrate, we wouldn't attempt it now.
Chad: I know what you mean about the photograph Brian, I think I it’s about the solitary object, the punkt, as the late Roland Barthes said in his great book ‘On photography’.

I think hitting the stone blocks would ensure that you complied with the sign.
Chad: A simple but effective idea Alan.
that pile od boulders should make it obvious to stop Chad... i like your sense of humor....petersmile
Chad: Many thanks again Peter.
What were you doing that you needed to STOP? lol
Chad: Lol indeed Jacquelyn.
