Münstershire in just 26 snaps

Ed: Ooh going all black and whitey are we?

Chad: Well it looked better and I thought, why not?

Ed: Are you sure you are not just trying to keep up with the Jones'

Chad: What do you know about art, I've got a certificate.

Ed: Ooh get you

Chad: Get lost Ed.

Where was I? Oh yes, this is in the seminary and forms part of the new build cloisters.

I gained the impression that these were happy days for my mother.

It certainly sounds that way, Chad...a job,a good friend, a pair of stout walking shoes...what more could a gal need?

[Oh dear...its all gonna change, isn't it...]

Oh yes...that's a row of ugly four-legged floor lamps!
gutteridge: It is very perceptive of you Ray to know that nothing remains the same for ever, especially the 'good times'. Do we all have a 'golden era/golden days' or is it simply a phase of youth that we all enjoy, perhaps only in retrospect.
I like your black and whitey composition! All sorts of spotlighting make it so interesting!
gutteridge: Repetition is often a good thing too Elizabeth.

a finely composed and lit up photo- but a bit sterile looking place - I know where we are, and Mechtild will have shown you the burnt angel?
gutteridge: The burnt angel was powerful and a fine piece of work. I did not photograph it as I saw the others doing just that. I prefer to look for the other creation using my electronic light capturing box.
Very 'arty-farty' Mr Doveton.

smile
gutteridge: I take that as an insult Mr T., thank you comrade.

This could be military style breakfasts Chad
gutteridge: Standing room only Tiff.
Best picture you have ever posted on SC Mr Doveton
gutteridge: Don't blame me Herr Phillips, blame the repetitive patterns.

I am impressed, Chad!
gutteridge: I shan't do it again...honest.
Some people would grab my comment with both hands and think of it as a wonderful accolade for them and for Britain in this Olympic month. Some just miss the opportunity.

smile smile
gutteridge: Damn I messed up once more, perhaps it is the rain thaT IS GETTing to me. Still, this evening I shall jet off fo France in my campervan and the sun will be all mine. Thanks comrade.
This makes a fine b&w study. Perhaps they are waiting to be asked to dance smile
gutteridge: A novel thought John, thanks.

Wonderful Chad - or should that be Blackchad? As you probably guessed I love this shot. Top drawer as they say!
gutteridge: I would have been surprised if you had not had something positive to say about this Mike. Needless to say I shan't be making a habit of it.
This is one of your best Chad, great composition and very good B.& W.processing.
gutteridge: I must be careful not to post such good ones, I don't want a reputation Brian.
This is excellent Chad!
gutteridge: You are really too king Juan.
A great sense of perspective with this repetition of lights Chad!
gutteridge: Very kind thanks Richard.

gutteridge: Thank you SAVO, such praise from a man who's photogrhs I admire.
Excellent capture of repetitive patterns, Chad. I agree with the others; one of your best.
gutteridge: It won't happen again, honest.
