Brisl with Lisl without drisl

More Brisl with Lisl or A nice day out in Bristol.

A series of snaps taken with my miniature portable telephone.

Two members of the party  - or, schutterchancers with their cameras ready in search of the Lord Nelson Public House

I thought it very enjoyable to visit a part of Bristol unknown to me
gutteridge: I concur whole heartedly with your statement Tiff.

Chris told me he enjoyed seeing this part of Bristol, although I hurried you all through it!
gutteridge: Well, not too hurried Lisl. Tiff and I seem to be on the same wavelength with regards to this.

I saw the Lord Nelson Pub on Astrid's blog - 'verriegelt und verrammt', unfortunately!
gutteridge: Many pubs are closing, as I’m sure you know.
It was an interesting part of the city. Not full of tourists...apart from us (probably the most tourists ever to visit this area)
gutteridge: We could be called - The alternative tourists.

the scenic highlights on this part of the walk came one after each other; it was a sensory overload.
gutteridge: The only positive for me was that it was a quiet area.
I find the old pub a much more interesting building than the tower block behind.
gutteridge: I agree Brian.
sights seers....
gutteridge: The locals might have been puzzled at the interest shown.
Seems you had this part of your excursion all to yourselves. Is this area closed to traffic, Chad?
gutteridge: No, it was just quiet.
the new on the left and the old on the right both Chad.... the buildings and the schutterchancers lol ....petersmile
gutteridge: It’s all going on here Peter.
They'll never find it!
gutteridge: They must have knocked it down Tom.
