i like the tomb stone Chhad but i love the Franz Liszt Ave Verum Corpus... (La Pieta)....petersmile
gutteridge: It’s a lovely piece of music Peter. That stone is not on his tomb, it is just a plaque on the street.
A nicely designed plaque...
gutteridge: It has a certain charm.

The barber used a generous-sized pudding basin as a stencil.

Its a lovely bit of noise, Chad, but the vid was a bit slow...
gutteridge: Well we can’t have everything Ray.
a nice rendition of the plaque, Chad. i wonder if there hairstyle was indeed so, or some creative leeway?
gutteridge: It shows why classical was known as long-haired music in the 1950s

He looks a tad Ancient Egyptian, Chad
gutteridge: I know what you mean Lisl, I think it’s his conk.
What a striking resemblance of this famous Hungarian composer, Chad.
gutteridge: It certainly is striking Ginnie.

I am not familiar with the works of Liszt Chad but I like this memorial
gutteridge: I like it too Tiff, almost caricature in style.
On dirait un égyptien.
gutteridge: Yes I see what you mean.

That is some great music with this picture, Chad.
A very humble plaque for such a famous man.
gutteridge: I agree Astrid, very humble, but perhaps all the better for it.
A man destined always to be associated with Brahms for many people
gutteridge: I always associate him with a piece of paper with lots of items to be purchased when out shopping.

Looks like some sort of Egyptian chappie who fiddled around with the Pyramids.
gutteridge: Then you are on the same wavelength as Martine Alan.

I agree with Lisl - he looks like an Egyptian sphinx on this plaque.
gutteridge: You, Lisl, Martine...its becomeing a strong sentiment.
I like this, Andrew, its appears quite contemporary.
gutteridge: I see what you mean Frank, elements of futurism and vortism here.
A very impressive plaque but an even mor impressive, nay beautiful, Ave Verum.
gutteridge: We agree about it all then Brian. Many thanks.
I had a secretary with a haircut like that. it looks good on this statue. A nice amount of drama in the music.
gutteridge: I bet your sec. didn't have such a pronounced conk though Mary.
A fine image of the master...
gutteridge: It is very nice Larry.
Looks rather Egyptian!
gutteridge: Five people have now said that Tom. Interesting.
