Checking on the PIGS

This series covers a tour of two of the PIGS (As Portugal, Italy, Greece and Spain were known as after the 2008 financial crisis), Spain and Portugal, in my Le Camping Car.

This place was good. See here

That is an humongous rose window, Chad!
gutteridge: One of the biggies Ray.
the view in the right is very appealing to me, especially set off against that deep blue shade of the sky, Chad.
gutteridge: The weather was superb and this is very high up overlooking the near y town.

gutteridge: Thank you Sherri, it was a challenge.
Great shots, Chad! The place is massive, isn't it!

an interesting montage - what a fascinating church!
gutteridge: I promised my le camping car that I would include it in every photograph, but that every photograph should be different.

Your link is all in a foreign language; is it Chinese? Russian maybe? Nevertheless, the church is worthy of seeing at a much larger size.
gutteridge: It’s in Greenlandisch Alan.

When I think of Portugal I think of sandiness and of Port Chad.

Clearly I should get out more..
gutteridge: You...get out more..., well...if you got out more Tiff...welll, you’d...you’d...well you’d be in less.
A surprisingly modern building then Chad.
gutteridge: But you are just saying that Bill.
A beautiful building and I'm so glad you went inside to bring us a picture of that lovely ceiling.
gutteridge: It is a huge tourist attraction Brian.

I hope you were lying on the floor when you snapped the ceiling ...and didn't fall asleep in the process.
gutteridge: I didn’t lie on the floor because you never know what was on peoples shoes.
Heralding your arrival and the resurrection of le camping car from the rocky depths. Th church looks brand new or newly cleansed.
gutteridge: It is a 20th. Century building Mary.
I've been to Viana do Castelo, but I don't recall going to this site.
gutteridge: It dominates the town Tom, pity you missed it.
Certainly is ornate...
gutteridge: Quite a special place.
