Brisl with Lisl
Way back in the summer (ha ha) Lisl took a few of us scers on a walking tour of the bits of Bristol that normally get overlooked. I thought I knew Bristol pretty well and have enjoyed this charming city since I was a child. It was the 'big smoke' for us and only twelve miles from home (Bath). I like the little coloured houses with flat roofs. I like Brunnel's steamship the SS Great Britain. I like Bristol City FC. I like the river Avon. I like Temple Meads station. I like Georgian Clifton. I like the suspension bridge and the Avon Gorge. I like the local accent where the letter L is sounded at the end of words quite unexpectedly - like Windl for Window.

Congratulations to you all.
